Guy Fawkes & Diwali

On November 5th our teams in the UK and India celebrated two hugely different but momentous occasions. One of which we in the UK are all familiar with, that of Guy Fawkes and his foiled plan to blow up the houses of parliament, Bonfire Night. The other was a celebration not dissimilar to our Christmas and the key festival celebrated in India, Diwali. Our colleagues from India who work at our UK headquarters organised a visit to Leicester for all Jaivel employees, where the largest festival outside of India to celebrate Diwali is organised with attendances reaching 30,000 to 40,000 people.

A great evening of celebrations and a superb firework display provided enjoyment for all ages not to mention the fantastic curry afterwards.
