Why are we asking for your consent?
Jaivel Aerospace values compliance to applicable regulations related to the data you provide to us as a part of your job application and interview process. We want to ensure that you fully understand the type of data that you provide to us and how it will be used.
The following statement explains our approach to our applicants’ data and how you can manage your data. You must provide explicit consent to us to continue to store your personal data, so that we can process your job applications that you have applied for. This is a legal requirement. What type of data is collected & stored?
We only store the data that you have directly provided to us via various forms, interview and assessment process. In addition to this, we may also store the data received during the reference, background checks as well as data available in social media and public domain.
Some examples of the type of data, we commonly store are – name, email address, contact details, skills, career preferences (e.g. target salary, location, etc), and a CV file/any supporting documents you may have uploaded.
Why do we need your personal data?
In order to process your interest in employment at Jaivel Aerospace and subsequent job application, we require your personal data. This could be as little as your name, email address, phone/mobile number and CV, but more often includes your contact details, employment history, education history and other relevant information.
To process your job application, we need to know above mentioned details, how to contact you and your expertise and skills as well as your CV. Who has access to your personal data?
Access to your data is governed by our Data Protection and Management Policy. As a data processor and controller, Jaivel Aerospace Management Team as well as our employees and third part service providers may have access to your data.
We utilise Zoho Recruit and Zoho People platforms to manage our recruitment and people process. Your data is primarily stored and processed through Zoho’s cloud services as well as Jaivel Aerospace’s internal servers.
How can you manage your personal data?
You have an option to request a copy of the personal data stored on this website by contacting our recruitment team member via below mentioned contact details. You can also manage most aspects of the data we store about you from your Candidate Portal Account’s dashboard.
How long will we keep your personal data for?
All information supplied by you will be retained until you update/remove your details. Section above “How you can manage your personal data?” provides details on how you can manage this data.
What happens if you don’t consent?
We take great care to collect as little information as possible to process your interest in employment at Jaivel Aerospace and subsequent job application, we are required by law to gain your explicit consent to collect this information.
If you decide not to provide explicit consent, we will not be able to process your interest in employment at Jaivel Aerospace and subsequent job application. You will also be unable to register to our candidate portal.
If you ask us to remove your consent at later date, we will remove any personal data we hold about you and stop processing your interest in employment at Jaivel Aerospace and ongoing job application. Where applicable, we’ll also remove your account from our systems (as your login details constitute personal data).
